It got good reviews at the time for its impressive (if a bit slow) 3-D graphics and realism. The CPC version uses mode 1 and is therefore not as colorful as the other versions, but still plays nicely, even if one knows next to nothing about golf.
Together with ''[[Winter Games]]'', ''[[Gauntlet]]'', and ''[[Infiltrator]]'', this was also available on the ''[[Solid Gold]]'' compilation.
