A classical ZAXXON inspired game, '''''HATE''''' has the originality to allow the player to control alternatively a Jet Fighter (able to fly) and a Tank.
It shares a few similarities in design and graphics with other Vortex' games such as [[Alien Highway]] and [[Highway Encounter]] but also [[Revolution]], all from the same teamcompany.
This game could have been a typical example of how good looking mode1 isometric could be.
Sadly the port is still a bit too much straight, the game still have the mono-colour graphics from the '''ZX Spectrum''' version and tend to be somewhat slow (see Speccy Ports page for more details).
The Amstrad version was done by the same team as for [[Deflektor]].
