Design Design
From CPCWiki - THE Amstrad CPC encyclopedia!
Design Design is a trading name first used in the mid seventies by Simon Brattel for electronic (mainly audio) hardware designs. In the growing home computer boom of the early 80s, Design Design moved into computer game programming first for the ZX Spectrum and later the Amstrad CPC. With a noticeable sense of humour, the games were packed with in jokes for 'those in the know' and although they only made a few releases (when compared with the giants of the era) there games are often remembered fondly.
In 1986, the decision was taken that the company should be focusing their efforts into game development rather than the other bits and bobs needed to be a successful computer game label.
