Virtual CPC is a free of charge CPC emulator written by Gleridis Christos. It runs on Windows XP and above (both Win32/64 bit versions) and needs at least a Pentium III or AthlonXP.

Development started on May 2005 and its first alpha release was on the 10th of February, 2007. It is written in Delphi Pascal, with some tiny parts in assembly. Current version is 1.1 (August 8th 2011).

  • Z80 emulation, undocumented opcodes and effects, overclock CPU
  • RAM up to 4 MBs
  • 16 slots for Expansion ROMs
  • Supports CRTC Type 0,1,2
  • Color or Green Monitor, window or Fullscreen Modes with MouseWheel Zoom In/Out
  • VDU emulation
  • AY-3-8912 PSG
  • Sound in various formats
  • FDC Controller for two Floppies
  • Supports DSK files, both Normal and Extended
  • Parallel port (Digiblaster, bidirectional direct use of PC's LPT in two modes, Binary output, PrintToFile)
  • Lightpen
  • SymbiFace II emulation
