Also simply known as H.A.T.E

It is a very classical isometric Shooter from Gremlin Soft. It is also a notorious Speccy Port.

The Game was also notorious for having one of the best Amstrad CPC music, thanks to the talented Ben Daglish.

Information

Description

A classical ZAXXON inspired game, HATE has the originality to allow the player to control alternatively a Jet Fighter (able to fly) and a Tank.

It shares a few similarities in design and graphics with other Vortex' games such as Alien Highway and Highway Encounter but also Revolution, all from the same company.

This game could have been a typical example of how good looking mode1 isometric could be.

Sadly the port is still a bit too much straight, the game still have the mono-colour graphics from the ZX Spectrum version and tend to be somewhat slow (see Speccy Ports page for more details).

The Amstrad version was done by the same team as for Deflektor.
