MESS is an emulator for vintage computers, consoles, chess computers, and calculators. It is a descendant of the MAME arcade emulation project. Just like MAME, the main goal of MESS is accurate emulation, not speed.
Currently, over 450 systems are supported, including the CPC and CPC Plus range and GX4000.[1]
