Introduction
Airborne Ranger is an arcade simulation game.
You control a lone soldier, running, walking and crawling through enemy territory. Missions range from rescuing hostages to infiltrating enemy H.Q., and require planning an pinpoint execution.
The action is viewed from a psuedo-isometric viewpoint, and starts with you controlling your supply 'plane, where you can drop kit bags of supplies (ammo, grenades, first aid etc) for use throughout your mission. You must then parachute behind enemy lines and begin your mission.
You can either run in full guns blazing or go stealth- stealth is the better option as the former will see you quickly run out of ammo and become overwhelmed.
A great action strategy game that should be in every Amstrad owner's collection :)
