--MacDeath 15:03, 20 February 2010 (UTC)Konix Speedking, I used to have this one, my favourite joy yet wasn't well suitable when the game needed an extra button/*command (such as R-Type with the Shield command...)
So :
--one button speedking : was mostly compatible with any mundane 1 button Atari controllers, so commercialised for Home computers : Atari ST, Amiga, C64, Speccy and Amstrad CPC/Plus. existed with autofire or not.
--two buttons speed king : with autofire or not. a SEGA model existed (Sega Master system). And an Atari ST/Amiga (perhaps Amstrad too then).
--Analog : was mostly for PC. It seemed to have actually 3 buttons from what I remember on advertisements, but the 3rd button may be a thing to calibrate instead..
--others : existed for nintendo (had extra buttons start and select) or SEGA Megadrive (3+1start buttons)
Concerning this model pictured :
Yes it seems to be a 2 button compatible with Amstrad PLUS/GX4000/CPC. This must have been quite rare, as most CPC used the 1 button model. This is just the the 2 button model with no autofire, yet differently wired compaired to Sega compatible ones.
But it is in no way an ANALOG model. Analog speed king had a different stick.
http://www.davduf.net/Konix-Speedking.html there you can also see a 1 button model with Autofire (Amiga or Atari ST...or even others)
http://cgi.ebay.fr/Manette-de-jeu-SEGA-SPEED-KING-KONIX/170443043568 the sega model, with 2 buttons and autofire.

this one is the Analogic one.
Nintendo NES model.
Remember : Sega was wired differently, and even C64 or other mundane 16bit computers weren't always all compatible (Button B was not always the same?), or Autofire wasn't supported by Amstrad mostly.
