Vapoware is hardware or software which was officially announced, even advertised, but didn't make it to the release.

Spartacus

Amstrad Action issue 16 had a cover tape which had some promotional screenshots and some text describing a number of games. Spartacus was one of them. The screenshots are on the same side as Druid. Nothing of this is playable.

Some source code to Spartacus has been found. There is more than one version of the code but none of it is playable. A character can be moved, there are some graphics for backgrounds, the player and a lion sprite. That is it.

The screenshot probably comes from this demo.
