The evolution of modern electronnic enabled drastic miniaturisation of a lot of device.

As a result a 3"5 disk drive is no more the big chunky boxe it used to be.


Technopriest (probably a german Amstradist) took advantage of the large 3" internal disk drive case on a CPC6128 to force it to house two modern-day 3"1/2 disk drives, originally designed to equip a portable PC.


Henceby re-inventing the Amstrad DoubleDecker (a double VHS tape device from a well known company) as the dreaded Double Decked Amstrad CPC.

(also infamously nicknamed the DPdiskDrive... double penetration DiskDrive)
