Stop Press was the debugged version of AMX Pagemaker. During the debugging session, US company Aldus registered Pagemaker as a trademark forcing AMS to change the name. To accompany the release, a data disc of fonts and clip art was included - this was entitled Extra Extra.
Page files for Stop Press could be so huge, it almost filled a side of a standard 3" disc. A third party compressor was released in 1988/9 by a company called Medway/King.
