I would like to split up this article into three:

  • Applications
  • Programming software
  • System software

As a programming language or a DOS is not really an "application". As we have the CPCWiki portal now, it wouldn't make any confusions I think. What do you think? -- Prodatron 17:51, 1 September 2006 (CEST)

I think that this is a good idea. Another pro is that the article isn't overloaded any longer. --Octoate 20:38, 1 September 2006 (CEST)
I concur. Nevertheless, though I see the distinction between Applications and System Software (such an OS), isn't Programming Software a division of Applications? Isn't a compiler an application itself, for intance? Gryzor 20:41, 1 September 2006 (CEST)
Uh, this is old discussion, but I want to say, I agree with Gryzor on this one. Programming Software should be marged with Apps. To distinguish it from other type of software, there should be a Category for programming apps... At least I think so.--Torn 23:35, 4 October 2006 (CEST)

If somebody deletes something (in this case "DiskDoktor") a comment WHY would be very helpful... --Villain 22:26, 4 October 2006 (CEST)

Well, maybe this was deleted because there's similar entry ("DirDoctor(GPA)")? Are those two the same?--Torn 23:35, 4 October 2006 (CEST)
