Sorry, it is more complex than you think, the ACID and ASIC talk to each other all the time and if the ACID doesn't reply, the ASIC blocks read access to ram. already the Spanish forum found this. Interesting. Like I said, I don't have the hardware yet anyway. But if I do get them, it might be possible to match the ASIC requests to the ACID replies and program a PIC to emulate the ACID. Bryce
