While I was studying GNVQ Advanced in IT course at City Of Westminster College in Paddington Green, I really need a PC desperately for me to do my assignments / coursework at college. So, my dad and myself went to [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jt9uBQdVSME PC World] at Staples Corner, looking around about an hour, searching for a suitable computer, but as soon I saw Packard Bell 9021XE PC, I got very excited because of the Media Select Control Pad, radio card and he planned remote control.  My dad wanted to buy a Hewlett Packard Computer Compaq Presario PC just because of the brand name and Kamilla (the sales assistance) saying its the best and my dad just agree with her, which it has tiny Media control system built onto the top of the Desktop case as shown in [https://ia902501.us.archive.org/32/items/pc-world-booklet-april-1997/PC%20World%20Booklet%20April%201997%20-%20Page_03.jpg PC World Booklet - April 1997] but I said 'No!' as it cost I hated tiny Media control system built onto the top of the case so much, no over £1,000 free software, no 5 year computer insurance and costing £500 more than the computer I was planning to buy - Packard Bell 9021 XE ([http://on.fb.me/LFqRfM Photo 4]) which is similar to [http://pbplanet.info/wiki/index.php/Platinum_Supreme_1680 Platinum Supreme 1680] except without 2 USB ports, using UK [https://archive.org/details/master-cd-english-6708440301 Packard Bell Master CD - English Ref No: 6708440301] & [https://archive.org/details/packard-bell-boot-floppy-uk-v-2.15 Packard Bell BOOT FLOPPY UK V 2.15 For MASTER CD & W 95 Disk 1 Ref No: 6708810101] with [https://ia802309.us.archive.org/6/items/PBHOUSE/PBHOUSE.BMP Packard Bell house] set as default background wallpaper.  I kept on pestering my dad to buy Packard Bell 9021XE PC instead, as both Kamilla and my Dad didn't know what exact type of computer that I want, and I knew quite a lot about computers learned from Amstrad PCW8256, while I was telling him the differences between the two, I loved the Mini-Tower design, separate Media Select control panel fixed under the monitor, radio card and separate remote control. I loved that PC so much, and finally my dad gave up the argument and he bought Packard Bell 9021XE - same price as shown in [https://ia802501.us.archive.org/32/items/pc-world-booklet-april-1997/PC%20World%20Booklet%20April%201997%20-%20Page_02.jpg PC World Booklet - April 1997] which it cost £3,000 in total including the 5 year insurance and lot of free software while I've grabbed the last copy of [https://archive.org/details/pc-world-booklet-april-1997 PC World Booklet - April 1997] before leaving the store. I've paid my dad back the whole £3,000 back bit by bit, because I feel very bad after I realised how much money that he has spend on me. Through out the course, I have used this new computer, experiencing the new computer as possible such as opening the computer case, finding out which slots are free, how much RAM can this computer take, and so on.
