Auntie John was the pseudonym that used by John Kennedy when writing for WACCI, simply because the first series of articles were in the form of an "Agony Aunt" column.

According to John, "It seemed a good idea at the time".

After WACCI, John worked for Amstrad CPC Magazine, then an Amiga magazine, then PC magazines and then "got a job in the real world" as a Technical Writer working for Microsoft in Seattle.

John Kennedy also wrote the documentation that came with Visual Studio C# Express, amongst other things.

John now lives near Seattle, and develops iOS apps: Craic Design

According to John, "Writing for WACCI certainly set the tone for my future career. But I can't really blame it for everything."
