Dave Golder previously worked on Your Sinclair and Commodore Format before arriving as Editor on Amstrad Action issue 96. He left AA after issue 111 to edit fellow Future Publishing title Ultimate Future Games. In 1995 he helped launch the new Future Publishing Science-Fiction magazine SFX, taking over the Editor position in 1996 and remained there until 2005.
