A powerfull and popular database for the Amstrad CPC, runs under CP/M. By Asthon Tate
dBase II was the first widely used database management system for microcomputers, published by Ashton-Tate for CP/M, and later for other OS where it and its successors dBase III and dBase IV (there was no dBase I) became one of the best-selling software titles for a number of years. Starting in the mid 1980s many other companies produced their own dialects or variations on the product and language. The dbase II for the CPC was running under the CP/M Plus operating system and was relatively popular.
