Thanks to the success of the CPC464 Amstrad was able to be a major part in the Computer market in the 80's.


  • PCW : a revolutionnary and fully equipped 8-bit word processor.
  • Amstrad PC : were the first "cheap" IBM PC compatible range.
  • ZX Spectrum as Amstrad bought Sinclair's computer brand and produced its own ZX Spectrum range in 1986.
