Tasword is a word processor by Tasman Software for the Amstrad CPC.
Tasword came in 3 versions for the CPC:
- Tasword 464 for 64k machines on tape. - Tasword 464 - D for 64k machines on disc. - Tasword 6128 for 128k machines on disc.
Although overshadowed by the far more sucsessful and powerful ProText.
Tasword was highly usuable, if limited in the number of pages that could be stored in memory at a single time (3 on the 464 and 5/6 on the 6128).
Amsword, released by Amsoft, was a version of Tasword with the name changed.
