I would like to split up this article into three:
- Applications
- Programming software
- System software
As a programming language or a DOS is not really an "application". As we have the CPCWiki portal now, it wouldn't make any confusions I think. What do you think? -- Prodatron 17:51, 1 September 2006 (CEST)

- I concur. Nevertheless, though I see the distinction between Applications and System Software (such an OS), isn't Programming Software a division of Applications? Isn't a compiler an application itself, for intance? Gryzor 20:41, 1 September 2006 (CEST)
