There has been a persistant roumer that Doctor Fegg and CRTC were the same person and the almost indentical manner of their writing styles seems to bear this out.

Doctor Fegg Richard Fairhurst was a BTL writer and author of The Equalizor's intros. Though not a prolific cracker himself, he helped ChaRleyTroniC with several cracks for the Amstrad Action covertapes.

Doctor Fegg first came to public notice through a column in Artificial Intelligence ("The Fegg"). This was later picked up by Amstrad Action for whom the good Doctor wrote a short series of articles. A member of STS and the Lords of Justice, he has also contributed some code to the unfinished Palatine demo project.
