Sid Meier is a well-known Canadian game designer specializing in military sims and strategy games.
Games by him that have been ported to the CPC:
- Silent Service (1986)
- Pirates! (1987)
- F15 Strike Eagle (1987)
Some of his later non-ported (Amiga/C64) games include Red Storm Rising (1988), Railroad Tycoon (1990), and the ongoing Civilization series (starting in 1991).
