Tiertex Design Studios (sometimes abbreviated Tiertex Ltd), is an Manchester-based English developer and publisher of video games, known for focuses on developing games for mobile and handheld platforms. Historically, the company was known for porting popular arcade games to home platforms. Originally founded in 1987, the company now has several branches in Europe.

This company was responsible of the production for other companies (sub-contractor) of some Arcade Ports on Amstrad CPC.

Those were often U.S. Gold distributed games.

Many (if not all) of their production were some sort of quite infamous Speccy Ports.


Sad facts

HKM was almost the only original release from the tiertex team on Amstrad CPC. Sadly it simply re-used the Street Fighter's poor port engin
