Star Watcher is an observer's guide to the stars by Amsoft/Triptych Publishing Limited.
This software has two parts: The teaching program, which teaches the appearance of the constellations, and the applications program, which displays the stars of the night (or day) sky for any given date and location.
The Star Watcher database includes stars up to magnitude 5.5, but there is a feature to limit the number of plotted stars either by magnitude or by constellation.
