'Desk-royal' is a desktop shell that implements a [[History of Graphical User Interfaces for the Amstrad CPC|GUI]].
The diferent [[WIMP]] elements are implemented in [[machine code]]. And own programs using the WIMP elements can easely be programmed using using RSX commands. Desk-royal was developed continiosly from 1989 to 1996.
